Why BareGlow Exists

I started reading ingredient labels because my son has eczema. What began as research for his skin became a deeper understanding of how interconnected everything is—gut health, skin barriers, hormone disruptors hiding in products marketed as "gentle."

When my husband had a serious accident requiring surgery, I watched his skin struggle to heal under standard post-op products. I knew there had to be something better than petroleum-based creams and synthetic additives. So I made tallow myself—grass-fed, carefully rendered, designed to support actual healing.

It worked. Then I started formulating with specific botanicals. Not to create a long ingredient list, but to enhance what tallow already does. Jojoba for oil regulation. Rosehip for cell turnover. Each addition had a purpose.

My mom tried it and her skin transformed.  Friends kept asking for more jars. That's when I realized this wasn't just for my family.

BareGlow isn't about trends or marketing claims. Every formula starts with one question: would I use this on my son's skin? If the answer isn't an immediate yes, it doesn't exist.

We make products that prioritize function over filler, formulation over buzzwords. Tallow-based because it works. Botanical-enhanced because it can work better.
